Well, it looks like the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. My son has taken on some of characteristics of his father: sarcasm and a willingness to 'cross-the-line' with comments. Take these into consideration...
On the night of my wife's first night on since delivering our 4th baby, she couldn't find anything nice to wear that fit her - it was only two weeks since the birth. My son, arriving in the bedroom could tell something was bothering her and asked. When my wife replied she couldn't find anything that fit, he asked, "Is that because you are fat?"
When told that was not nice, he decided to reword his question, "Is it because you take up more space now?.....(5 second pause)...because you are fat?"

April Fool's Not To Be
April Fool's day came and went this year without any real 'bang'. I'm usually the receiver, and giver of at least a few good jokes and few bad, lame jokes. I only had one joke played on me - which did get me and started the day well - that's where it ended unfortunately.
It's somewhat disappointing and depressing. I take great pride in not acting my age and April Fool's provides a great excuse to be juvenile. The depressing thing is I didn't have time to even think of some good jokes, let alone pull them off. My priorities have been incorrectly diverted!
I was disappointed that my kids, whom I thought I had trained well, didn't play any jokes this year. They are innocent pranks, but entertaining. I guess they have become too busy, as well.
